Thompson School District will hold a formal groundbreaking ceremony for the new High Plains School on Wednesday, April 22 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the school site, which is located at 4255 Buffalo Mountain Drive in Loveland.
“The community has shown a great deal of energy and interest in this project,” said Marc Seter, chairman of the school’s Construction Review Committee. “High Plains School is going to be a very visible and positive landmark for this community. I really believe that the technology and modern design that this project is incorporating will be a big step forward for this district.”
High Plains School is designed as Thompson School District’s first facility to directly serve students from early childhood through 8th grade. The campus is scheduled to open for students in the fall of 2016.
More information regarding the groundbreaking event is located on the attached page. Due to parking limitations at the site, the district will be providing transportation to the ceremony via school bus from a nearby parking lot.
